Ensure that the wax has completely cooled, and then trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before relighting.
Pro Tip: Keeping a wick trimmer next to your candle is a simple way to remind yourself to trim the wick before you light the candle
Burning a candle is a potential fire hazard so you must never leave a lit candle burning unattended. If you are going to leave the room, be sure to blow out all lit candles. Keep burning candles away from furniture, curtains, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc.
Do not place burning candles where they can be knocked over by children, pets or anyone else.
We recommend that you burn your candle for at least Two (2) hours but no longer than four (4) hours. You must burn wax to the edges of the vessel for maximum fragrance throw and to prevent wax tunneling.
Don’t burn your candle all the way to the bottom. It is generally recommended to stop using the candle once there is only 1cm of wax left if it is a container candle. This ensures that the wick remains vertical and that the burn stays under control the whole time.
