Frequently Asked Questions

For the candle jars, we recommend that you light it for at least two (2) hours but no longer than four (4) hours. 

For the discovery tins, we recommend that you light it for at least one (1) hour and no longer than three (3) hours. 

You'll also want to cool your candles completely before relighting.

A rough top after burning is a natural occurrence for soy wax and is an indication that your soy candle is indeed an all-natural soy wax candle. Know that this does not affect the performance of your candles at all!

Aside from being sustainable, wood wicks burn slower and longer than the traditional cotton wick, giving you more bang for your buck. Additionally, wood wicks burn hotter for more aromatic power, leading to a stronger smelling candle. 

Absolutely! Trimming the wick of your candle is an important step to ensure an even burn, increase the lifespan of your candle, and reduce the risk of a fire hazard.

Soy wax is highly sensitive to fluctuations in temperatures, so sweating can be caused by sudden changes of temperatures. Due to these changes in temperature, the natural oils in the wax start to separate and come to the surface of the candle. Don't worry though, this is completely normal soy wax behavior. Simply wipe off the sweat before lighting your candle & you're good.

Wax tunneling is a specific problem that occurs when you don’t burn the candle completely to the edge of the vessel. This creates a waxy edge around your wick so that every time you burn it in the future, the wax burns down instead of across forming a wax tunnel.

These are 100% real natural tumble-polished quartz that we source from Southeast Asia. These crystals are incredibly resistant to heat (they were also formed in intense pressure and heat), and are safe to be used in candles.
